Laurie holds her Masters from Wheaton College and earned a certificate in Biblical Counseling from CCEF in 2020. Her passion is walking alongside suffering people as they grow in Jesus’s grace in their lives and helping them discover how the scriptures and the Holy Spirit meet them where they are in order to bring healing and renewal.

Laurie has worked in a variety of contexts including with those in foster care, those experiencing homeless, as well as those with learning difficulties.

As a counselor, she is particularly interested in working with people suffering anxiety, chronic illness, depression, those navigating estranged relationships as well as those in ministry.

Laurie has been married to her husband Dan for 23 years and has four children, middle school through college aged. She enjoys soaking in nature, growing plants, filling stomachs, and practicing martial arts.
