“Thank you just doesn’t seem enough for the massive impact you’ve had on my life.”
“My counselor validated the feelings I had been feeling while moving me toward a picture of what Christ was doing redemptively in the midst of my specific trials and temptations.”
“All of the glory goes to God for the change that has happened this year in our lives, he greatly worked through you and your words to help bring about that change.”
Dear Friends of Life Counseling Center Ministries,
The statements above are snippets from people who have shared stories of gratitude for the care they received from Life Counseling Center Ministries. It is encouraging to get notes containing comments like these. I share them with you, with permission, so that you too will be encouraged. God uses the gifts you give to make stories like these a reality.
It was late November when I last wrote to you. We were getting our footing as we restructured to a non-profit ministry. At that time only 6% of our budget was funded from donor gifts. This puts significant pressure on the counselors to see more people in order to meet operating costs. I presented a goal to double our donations in 2019. To do that we needed to raise $18,000 in gifts.
We have currently received approximately 65% of that amount, but giving has slowed so I am asking for your help. We need to raise the remaining, just over $6000, in the next quarter to meet this financial goal. Our hope is to continue to double our donor giving so any additional support will help us move into next year a little easier.
Do you have a story like the ones above? Have you been impacted by the care and compassion given by our counselors? Have you benefited from our workshops or seminars? Do you find it a blessing to have a biblical counseling center to refer friends or family? If so, would you please help us help others by sending a gift today toward this need? You can give online HERE. You can also mail your gifts to our office at 2600 Marriottsville Road, Marriottsville, MD 21104.
Please pray for us. We send out quarterly newsletters (see attachment) with updates and prayer requests. It is a blessing to our team to know others are lifting us to the Father. Thank you, your prayers encourage our hearts and mean so much to each one of us.
Serving Christ together,
Eliza Huie, Executive Director
